Are you ready for a new challenge?

Our responders commit 16 hours a month of their spare time to attend appropriate emergency calls in their own community and are dispatched by the EMAS Emergency Operations Centre.

Our responders attend a variety of calls in their local communities and provide life saving care prior to the arrival of an ambulance.

• Are you up for a challenge?    
• Would you like to help people in your community?    
• Can you commit 16 hours a month to save lives?   
• Do you want to learn essential lifesaving skills?  
• Do you hold a full, clean driving licence?
• Are you in reasonable good health?

If you answered ‘yes’ to all of these questions then you could be the person we are looking for.

When we are currently recruiting responders in and around the Ilkeston area, vacancies will be posted on the East Midlands Ambulance Service website.
