Will was appointed Coordinator in 2025. He has been a responder since October 2023 and has been involved in first aid since joining Beaver Scouts at age 6.

Former IT and Health and Safety Manager with experience in the EMAS Emergency Operations Centre. CFR for more than 8 years.

Special responsibility for equipment procurement, finance and charity status.

Sue oversees our CPD sessions, providing excellent training for responders across the scheme.
On duty
Community First Responders
In addition to committee members who also respond, we presently have 25 active Community First Responders in various locations, available at different times day and night.
We previously operated dedicated scheme vehicles, including CFR07 — as used by CFR schemes across EMAS. We now respond in our own personal cars, each equipped for the role.

With Amber CFR since 2018. Former joint coordinator; now a trustee and active responder.
Dean Simpson
Community First Responder
Dean has been a responder with Amber CFR since 2025. He was part of the Falls Support Service project, training care home staff and delivering training on the Mangar Eagle lifting cushion to 110 care homes and extra care facilities.
