Ready for a new challenge? Join 25 volunteers providing life-saving care before the ambulance arrives.

Are you ready?

Our responders commit 16 hours a month of spare time to attend appropriate emergency calls in their own community, dispatched by the EMAS Emergency Operations Centre.

They attend a variety of calls and provide life-saving care prior to the arrival of an ambulance.

  • Would you like to help people in your community?
  • Can you commit 16 hours a month to save lives?
  • Do you want to learn essential lifesaving skills?
  • Do you hold a full, clean driving licence?
  • Are you in reasonable good health?

If you answered yes to all of these, you could be the person we are looking for.
